Fire in San Diego

There were two major wild fires in San Diego, I’m not even sure if they have the same origin. The so called Harris Fire started at Harris Ranch and moved down near the Otay Ranch and Chula Vista area.

The Witch Fire started at Witchcreek and spread around neighboring areas in Ramona. And it moved more and more to the west through Poway, Escondido, Rancho Bernardo, Rancho Santa Fe and neighboring areas. I live in Rancho Penasquitos which is beside Rancho Bernardo and Poway and was ordered a mandatory evacuation on Monday morning.

Although wind speeds have decreased, they said they said the peak of the speed as well as the temperature highs will be at sometime 3pm today.

Right now the fire has reached near the Del Mar areas already and we are still waiting up to when we can go back home and see the the status of everything.
