iPod's can save lives

A group of Physicians are using iPods to improve their listening skills these days, while some people say that “too much iPod can cause hearing loss”.

A previous research shows that doctors get an average of only 40% correctly in identifying heart sounds. Wow, isn’t that awful when your doctor said that everything is ok while there is really something wrong - he just didn’t hear it properly.

So a new research was conducted involving 149 general internists listened 400 times to five common heart sounds during a 90-minute session using iPods. And as the result says, the average score doubled to 80%. Wow, thanks to iPod. Right? For more read it here.
